Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is frequently viewed as one of the most complex but favored poker variations. Omaha 8 or better begins exactly like a normal game of Omaha. 4 cards are dealt to each player. A round of betting ensues where gamblers can wager, check, or fold. Once all the players have in turn called or folded, another card is revealed on the turn. a further sequence of wagering follows at which point the river card is revealed. This is the point where some players often get flustered. The low hand takes half of the pot, as just like the higher hand. When there is no lower hand available, the higher hand wins the whole pot.
