Amateurs Strategy for Double-Hand Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their money.

A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game play, novices can take their time and scheme without needing to make frenzied selections.

It is also much simpler to play for a very long time with only a tiny amount of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer gets 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
