Online poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variants on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players receive 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your bet goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• 2-1 for two pairs
• 3-1 for three of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• five to one for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
